Although it appears handmade from gold, Swedish artist Jakob Smycken uses a 3D printer to create this amulet. Printed on a polished gold steel, the material appears gold but holds its shape much better than 24 karat gold ever could. The heartiness of the material means your amulet lasts longer.
Designed in Fusion 360, Smycken developed the original design as a part of his geometric shapes series. The 3D printing technique used to etch the design results in a clean, crisp hand swirl.
The Native American symbol represents The Great Spirit in a person. The swirl symbolizes the mystic or third eye. The eye in the hand is all-seeing.
Wear this amulet to represent your oneness with your higher power. You do not have to be Native American to appreciate the divinity within yourself or to feel an affinity with Native American philosophy.
The artist and illustrator works in plastics and metals but chose the toughness of steel for this jewelry piece. The toughness of the material represents the everlasting nature of The Great Spirit and the all-seeing of the mystic eye. Its gold color represents the spiritual aspect of “All That Is” and complete understanding.
Its dog tag-like size of 2.63 x 5.81 x 0.45 cm or approximately 1-inch x 2.28 x 3/16 inches fits easily on any chest-length gold chain. The 3D printing technique results in a crisp chain hole for this pendant as well. You can also find this pendant in polished bronzed silver.
